BLACK.

The Mode Museum in Antwerp is holding an exhibition celebrating black within clothes. 'BLACK. Masters of Black in Fashion & Costume' examines the many shades of black, it's history with clothes and what it has symbolized through the centuries such as mourning and luxury. Antwerp has a special relationship with black as it was famous in the 16th and 17th century for dying everything black. Featuring Ann Demeulemeester, Olivier Theyskens, Dirk Van Saene, Givenchy (Riccardo Tisci), Chanel and Gareth Pugh.

I love black and even though the sun was shining today and I had a slight urge for a white shirt and blue jeans combo I couldn't do it and the old faithful Black was worn instead in the fashion of a cut up baggy t-shirt and a leather skirt.

So who wants to take a trip with me? x

It's Witchcraft.

I think I have fallen in love with Wildfox all over again. Their Fall 2010 lookbook has this romantic and playful version of The Craft going on. Awkward but beautiful school girls discover their powers and get up to mischief. There is a little story to go with it if you look here. The styling and set design fits in so well with the story and the best thing is there are soooo many photos. No I lie the best thing is that the 'witches' are styled up with Jeffrey Campbell and Litter SF throughout. Their lookbooks always look so much fun. Oh to be involved in them would make me very happy. I hope they bring out a video to go with it like they did for this season.
