I Couldn't Help It.

OMG how much do I want this easter egg!

£60! From Hotel Chocolat the The Milk Chocolate Ostrich Easter Egg.

'With two mammoth shells cast in 40% cocoa milk chocolate textured with cookies, crispies and chocolate chunks. Together with a dreamy selection of pecan and macadamia pralines, melt away caramels, solid chocolate slabs and more'

Yes I will be working on easter eating this wearing bunny ears!

It's Nearly Easter!

While all of you are gorging on roasts and chocolate I will be working...boo!

Easter this year could be a more fashionable one due to the chic bunny ears that have been since Louis Vuitton AW09 and Maison Michel made popular. I think it took a while for people to catch on but now everybody from Lily Allen to the Olsens, Gaga of course and even Madonna have been out wearing them. The bloggers have done diy jobs...I said that I would but of course didn't! Just last week getting on the tube I sat across from a woman in her mid 30's wearing a white shirt, leather trousers and teeny tiny tuxedo jacket killer heels and a pair of satin bunny ears showing that it isn't just for editorials and the young (madge doesn't count). Tophop have got their own, Maison Michel have a new one for SS10 and I think over the spring people will be a bit brave and there will be lots more bunnies on the streets.

More Bones.

I have been eyeing up this Nicomede Talavera necklace for months convinced I wouldn't show it until I hav made myself a wee copy. However getting hold of real bones of the right size is hard and expensive.

Formspring.me

There are increasingly more and more people on my facebook that have Formspring.me and always putting up status's encouraging friends to 'ask them anything'.

For those of you that don't know what Formspring.me is, its kind of like twitter but instead of lots status updates people ask you questions and you answer the ones you want to. Basically like a constant interview. The interesting part is that the person asking the questions is anonymous. Ah-ha! Stalkers paradise.

This makes me a little uneasy...lovely people I know have been asked nasty questions or just been given a point blank nasty statement about their lifestyle. Of course nobody has to see that unless they decide to answer. The people I know have bravely decided to answer these prying cowards protected my anonymity. Maybe to put rumours to rest or simply just answer the question, these reasons I don't know.

Now I assume the Formspring people only 'advertise' for people to ask questions about them on facebook and maybe I am beng naive but again assuming all the people you are 'friends' with on facebook would be nice to you then wouldn't it make you wonder who the hell these nasty people are? And also start to wonder who else is thinking the same thing. I mean they probably have had a bitch about it with their mates...and are their mates friends of yours too? For me this could possibly open up a whole new chapter of insecurities...I know we are not suppose to care what people think but deep down no matter how secure I think we all do a little. And we have all done silly things in the past and I have had my fair share and wouldn't want these possibly being brought back up.

I have seen some bloggers do it too, which I can understand. People want to know where they source their information and learn more about their favourite bloggers. I am not sure if any celebs are doing it but I am sure their PR agents will be getting them to do it soon enough.

I thought about doing one for this blog but then then its everybody's game to get the nasties in. Maybe I am being pessimistic or maybe I don't want to know what some idiots might think. Whatever it is I do like it for my own nosy ways. I have yet to ask questions, I just like seeing and being surprised and sometimes shocked at what people ask. I am very curious to see what I would get asked but as for making one myself? EH NAW!

More Please.

I love Tavi, wise well beyond her fashion years, and annoyingly she knows soooo much more than me at only being 13 but as much as I admire her creativity and indivduality in her dress sense, it was more granny than chic. However recent outfit posts by her I am really loving. I want to see more!

Riot Grrrl.

Fraser from Spill asked me to model for his project depicting a typical yet modern riot grrrl fashion sense, the project examines the riot grrrl movement and feminism as well as the lgbt community and how they are discriminated against. Luckily I have some clothes that are riot grrrl-esque.

The Enchanted Palace.

On the 26th of March Kennsington Palace is getting a couture makeover from designers such as Vivienne Westwood, Stephen Jones and William Tempest. The palace will be transformed with installations inspired by the princesses who lived there.

"interactive theatre, intimate storytelling, soundscapes, haunting film projections, and a series of intriguing clues hidden throughout the historic rooms, revealing tales of love and hate, surprise and sadness, secrets and jealousy."

Aminaka Wilmont has created a 'dress of tears' an Vivienne Westood a dress for the rebellious princess and William Tempest's trompe l'oeil dress that will "appear to vanish and merge into its surroundings."

Tickets are £12.50 and it ends Jan 2011.

Who wants to come with me??

Power Dressing

Came across this photo from and editorial from Numéro 86 Sept 2007. I love it, it reminds me of a sexed up super hero and I was reminded of my friend Oliva on the front cover of Bizzare Magazine last year.

Face For The Radio

I am visiting Glasgow right now, so sad that I am only here for four days and have to cram everyone in and can only see everyone once but it is worth it.

I have mentioned before about my friends Fraser and Sean's radio show and today I was their guest host. My sister Rhea snuck along with me, she was meant to be at school but I don't care because I miss her so much and she is so funny. I was so nervous the 5min before we went on air and my voice was a bit shakey to start and I made some funny mistakes but I soon eased into it and couldn't shut up! I would of gone on for longer...new career option maybes?

If you want to have a listen to the show click here. You can listen in at the same link live every Wednesday at 3pm.
Check on their blog too.

'A New Era'

There has only been one issue out of Ribbed magazine and I think it could be one of the best online magazines around. The quarterly magazine's layout took me in immediately with its black and white moving clouds background. I especially love that they have taken advantage of their online position with not having the normal page turning option and with it promising to have a different theme every time, the next issue is already highly anticipated.

What the magazine provides is visual aesthetic is also mirrored in its content. The editorials are inspiring and keeps in theme with the look of the issue. There is new work featured from Mark Lebon which is just beautiful. For me fashion film speaks great volumes and I loved Lebon's take on it. Not only the fashion but journalism if you read Robert McNicols article, 'Architectural Sympathy' it would seem this magazine is credible on on many levels. Throw in interviews from Glass Diamond and the normal people of the world who are doing amazing things too this magazine is definitely opened up 'A New Era' of publication.

'Black Kids' editorial-my favourite from the magazine.
